Possibly moving to Australia
This might be putting the cart before the horse, but here goes. DH is getting interviewed for a 2-3 year temporary job in the Sydney suburbs, don't know exactly which one, then going back to the parent company in US. I'm not sure I want to move again, even temporarily, as I love our house and the area we live in, Southern California. We are originally British, and have done our share of moving in the UK and US. We are empty nesters with a couple of dogs, and we're just a few years off retiring age.
Any pro's, con's, what to be aware of, ease of renting with medium sized dogs, nicer suburbs with decent public transport, shopping etc.
