Default Overnight in Bahrain - where to stay?

Hi,

Wife, baby and I are in Bahrain for 2 nights in November. Doesn't seem to be that much choice on the hotel front and some 4* hotels seem to resemble hostels. Can anyone recommend a decently priced 4star hotel. Anyone stayed at the Sheraton? We don't mind spending the money but this does need to reflect the state of the hotel. But the ritz is out of our league unless you canget us a BIG discount!

Any hotel booking websites appreciated.

Thanks,

Erwin

I used to work in Bahrain and we used to be put up at the Diplomat Hotel. It has a nice pool and an Irish Bar/restaurant. I'm not sure of the prices though.
