Worse than that - umbrellas are for antisocial bastards.
When I worked in the city and used to walk either from where I parked my car, or from the bus stop to the office I used to HATE rain.
Not because I got wet - but because it made my eyes hurt. Every time it rained people would wonder about on crowded streets with umbrellas with sharp metal points on 8(?) sides at eye height - swinging them about with complete abandon and no consideration for the health and safety of those around them.
Quite simply its a matter of public health, umbrellas do not belong in urban environments....

The worst thing for me in the UK was the weather. Not the practical side of things, but what it does to my skin. I spent about 10 months of the year that way. The other 2 would be when my skin was just starting to feel better, then the cold and wind would start up again
I am enjoying having nice, painfree skin for once.

Saturday was hot. One day out of 365 isn't too much of a hardship.
