it's 02:33 in the morning. i'm cold, bored and the OH has drunk a bottle of port before he went to bed. Normally i dont mind, but his SNORING is 10 times worse than usual, so much so it has woken me up and all my speciallist kung-foo type moves i have perfected to shut him up,over the years with him are doing nothing to ease my suffering. any ideas?

If he is sleeping on his back, you should try rolling him over. If he keeps rolling back over onto his back, try tieing (tying?) a golf ball to his back so that he naturally will roll over back onto his stomach.

My missus swears by the spare bedroom at such times. Depending on what time of the month it is, she'll either sleep in there, or I'll be given my marching orders.

i tried that once when someone else suggested that, only thing was though he reached behind his back grabbed the ball and threw it as hard as he could into the mirror! (not looking at what he was doing!)

Stick a couple of ice cubes down his boxers - if the shock doesn`t wake him up, then wait for them to melt - give him a good shake - & tell him your disgusted with him losing control of his bladder just cos he`s had a few and send him to the spare room in disgrace

My husband and I would have divorced years ago if it wasn't for ear plugs.

On the occasions that I can still hear him and I've tried rolling him over but he's still snoring I go to my daughters room and sleep in the bunk bed.
I then make him suffer for the whole of the next day

lol, thats what i was going to suggest!!

i gave up years ago trying to stop mal snoring, so now i just get up and sleep on the sofa ... dont try and fight it, preserve your sanity by either sleeping elsewhere or suffocating him
