Re: Map of BE'ers in OZ
There we go, I am now officially pinned to Cairns. Just thought I'd help out with the top end of the map

Question for Red. Google tells me Yardea is a station of some sort - cattle, is it, way out there? Do you own it, or work on it? (Or both, I guess!) Pretty isolated, eh?

Tempted to put both my Aussie locations in, just like being in the middle of Whoop Whoop! LOL! Great idea - loving see where everyone is.

I thought it was a good idea - least if you are considering a move you can see who's in an area to help with ideas - or even lend a hand.
Still not many here in SA although I know there's a few of us around - and still no-one for NT
The NZ'ers seem to be all up and down the islands

Ok I've messed up statistics and put myself in two places at once! LOL! Just to support the SA crowd (or lack of!)

You joined Red with a walkabout
Interesting to see where you used to be - any stories from that time?

Too many! LOL! Loved it but loving Queensland even more! Rural SA was right for us then, for 6 years, but now our boys are getting older, to live in a larger community and avoid 50 kms into town for footy training, we don't miss that! If you swap the map from map to satellite (or Earth) can't remember which it is - you can see lots of circles, that's what we do. We used to grow potatoes and onions under 22 centre pivot irrigators for Woolworths, Coles and Aldi. Now we design, install and service the same equipment, but in Queensland obviously. It's farming but not hands on farming as such anymore - lots more time to ourselves at weekends and less flies, cattle and sheep!

BEV was asking on our (US) map thread about merging maps, I have uploaded the US data xls file in that thread, if anyone wants to do a world map, in the lounge or some place. Map admins could save as csv files, then import them in to a new map.

There is a new thread in the lounge - Map of BE'ers around the globe with links to the new map. All OZ and NZ data transferred but we were unable to merge the US data for free, but everyone is adding themselves anyway and there are people from Canada, UK, US, etc.
Have a look

And I'm the sunflower down in the Caribbean - the only marker of any kind down there, which is strange. Where is everybody?
