Life in a blast furnace

Re: Life in a blast furnace
In for a penny, in for a pound. I haven't seen any weather in Adelaide, Melbourne or in the middle this year that is any different to previous years.
What I have seen is ridiculous headlines declaring that a day time high of 32 is SCORCHING, which clearly it isn't. It's perfectly normal for January.
Just the press having nothing better to say.
Most of the med is around 30 all summer. Didn't we all go there on hols for the warmth?

Apparently this one is different though. This one is caused by MMGW and is the shape of things to come.....

Oh yes, I agree it is quite beautiful. But after 9 years of 'summer' holidays there, consisting of rain, fog, rain, sun rain, oh and wind, I'm a bit over it now.
Rock-pooling at Ballybunion, while fun, is not quite as nice as rock pooling here

The only time I went to Ireland it rained for a week. No wonder they call it the Emerald Isle- it was green slime- all the beaches were covered in seaweed, and everything else with mould/lichen/sphagnum moss. (Waterford/Wexford area)

As I have said, the Adelaide climate is the easiest to live with that I have known, except January and February can dish up a little unpleasantness every now and again.

I thought you lot all moved to Australia for the warm weather? And now you're moaning about it.
