I would use goose bumps, however I have heard a third option, some people use goose 'flesh'.

euurrgghh just the word, flesh. If it's possible for a word to be unpleasant it's flesh, gusset's a bad one too.

Pimples is an unpleasant word but in my opinion is the correct one in this case.

Goose flesh is I suppose quite apt though as it is a creepy phrase to describe a rather creepy sensation.
