Ahh I already got the house sorted bought very young however, I may need an incredibly fast car when I return from my backpacking travels around the world.

Not if you win on Lotto. The interest received later, as an income, would be of course.

However, if you win on UK Premium Bonds, then you would be taxed, if you lived here.

Pay off home loan, quit job, bum around avoiding other realities that an influx of money doesn't help with ....
