Hi Ian. After receiving your approval letter and paying your citizenship fee did you have to attend your ceremony within a certain time (ie in UK I think it's 3 months). Also, do they give you a specific date or can you pick which ceremony you want to attend? Not sure how often they have them ...... Thanks

After paying the fee.. they tell you to go away and wait for more information...
The gap between my citizenship letter and the ceremony was almost 4 months. The ceremony I attended may well have been delayed a little so as to get it timed to be close to the 50th Anniversary of Independance. celebrations. But you don't seem to get a choice in the matter.
I'm sorry I don't know either how often they have the ceremonies.
