Importing Dogs to Barbados
Hi
We are looking to move to Barbados in a couple of months and have two beautiful Ridgebacks.
I have researched plenty about importing them but one question I do have, if someone can help with this, is:-
Is it compulsory to register your dog with the Barbados Kennel Club?
I see they have registration forms for this purpose but I'm not sure if it's specific to registered pedigrees. Ours are pedigrees but we really don't stress about all the paperwork to prove it! So, if we don't mind not registering pedigrees, do we really HAVE to?

If you call your vet they will point u in the right direction. As far as I know you require a pet passport but do not require rabies injections. Also what type of work are you looking for as I may be looking for a manger to run a small hotel.
