Importing a Car
Hello Everybody.
I am planning to send my car from the UK to Barbados. I know it needs to be under 4 years old and with limited mileage and also that I need an import licence. I also know that the import duties vary according to the value of the car. Can anyone give me a few hints on the best way to do this ? To whom do I apply for the import licence ? What is the best way to minimise the import duties which I know are very high ? I would rather not send the car as parts and have it reassembled there which is how a lot of cars have been going over. Which is the cheapest shipping line ? Any information gratefully received. Thanks
