private healthcare
Hello everyone once again,
My family and myself have now moved to this beautiful part of the world, and in the words of that burger in a bun chain -lovin it! [their spelling, not mine]
So sorting out many things at the moment, and having excellent advice and help from lovely neighbours. Next on my list is private healthcare. Ive searched this forum for any info, but none found.
Can anyone recommend a decent good private healthcare company, and preferrably one that doesnt plague you with phonecalls the moment you ask them for a quote!
Also, while Im here again, Im still looking for an english speaking live in carer for my 90 year old dad if anyone knows of one please.
Many thanks

Thank you for your suggestion Iant, very good of you. However I have tried that company and their 'exclusions' were far too extensive for what Im looking for. But many thanks anyway.

Re: private healthcare
Many people reading my request may be thinking 'search the internet, there are loads of companies doing that', and I do realise that. Im looking for recommendations really, as to get quotes from all those companies would take some time. Its not only a reasonable rate Im looking for, its also good service which I can only know through recommendations

Yes if your Spanish is up to it, they are reasonable on rates and service is good. They do a policy which includes paying a small charge for each visit to the doctor/specialist and thereby making their monthly charge slightly less. Wife had cataract operations with no quibbles and typically a Euro 10,- charge for subsequent consultations which is then added to the monthly premium.
Good point is the ability to do a lot online but they also have regional offices if you need them.
