How was that?

The clarity of water added to sand or soil?

Have you thought about becoming a professional party planner? No wonder we 'volunteered' you to arrange things - you're good!!!!

PS I've just noticed that this thread has had over 1000 views, but only 88 posts. So who's lurking? Are they considering coming along? Have you had any PMs from potentials, Swerv-o?
Well, so far I think it stands at:

Bruce, Raiinoz, Sour Kraut, Nick, Anna, Chels and Swerv-O, plus associated other halves.

Northener, Katherinious, Kbryant and Mctree have yet to confirm.

My housemate is definitely out though, as she is working late, but will try to make the next one. SteveMich is out too, some excuse about inlaws at an airport or something. Personally I think he heard some of my jokes

Well I'd come, but I don't like living here much, so probably wouldn't be welcome. Of course, we could keep the conversation on neutral topics, like football and politics

Just come anyway! We're not going to sit and pass judgement on you because you don't like it!

Maybe meeting some new people will help you to gain a different view of things too. We're all very friendly, so please do come.

And my repertoire of appalling jokes will surely cheer you up...

Funnily enough Swerv-o my wife (who is neither an Aussie or a Brit says the same thing.

OK, see you tomorrow night

Hey Sour Kraut, will be good to meet at last!

Swerv-O - Have changed my mind, will see you there!

No hangers on this time, which is just as well, given what happened the last time I was at King Street Wharf!

Hi everyone,

Just got back on line (literally)! THINK we will be able to make the drink tomorrow but it is a bit chaotic at the moment as you can imagine. We're looking at houses around Lane Cove/St Leonards tomorrow, but also got to go see a man about a dog on George St at some point. Think we'll just have to see how it goes to be honest.

Are you eating there? Do you do this every week/regularly? Might have a bearing on what we do.....

Oh no! I had a bit of set back with the healing process of my ankle fracture, so off work today ergo won't be passing CBD or be hanging around in pubs either.
If all goes well should make the next one though! I was really looking forward to the bad joke contest.

@Raiinoz: I know, would have been great!
@FPM: Definitely, do it.
@Northerner: Geez, these northerners. Fairly organised for the first week, hu? There should always be time for a drink though.

I lived in Lane Cove
I live there now, have done for 6yrs. Moving out of LC in Dec though. Gonna get away from the tunnel chaos. Traffic is already going mental due to the junction changes.
