Good evening everyone. 1st post on this site.

We are Paul and Cheryl (obviously)!! and we live is Wishaw. We have thought long and hard bout shifting to AU and now we are doing something about it. I'm soooo gonna miss Wishy main st!

We would love to meet you all on 1st March, so see you all soon. We'll bring the girls too, as its all about them, Millie aged 5 soon and Jodie aged 3.

Cheryl is the main applicant as a coronary nurse, I'm in automotive IT

Hi Debbie. Thanks for the welcome. We have looked at a few places but def like the Gold Coast and maybe the pacific pines area. We have been looking at property and schools there. Seems like there is a strong community there too. Getting the wheels in motion!

The Gold Coast seems very popular at the moment with folk immigrating. We were in Oz last June, went to Brisbane as the OH has family there. We went down to the gold coast for the day, looked round Surfers Paradise...when we move going to stay down there for a week to check it out as alot of folk seem to love it and the property seems a bit cheaper than Brisbane. Look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to the site, you'll soon find its like a cross between the Samaritans, an Encyclopedia, and the Wich magazine all rolled in to one ! Think I could have actually turned completly grey and eaten my fingers never mind just the nails if it hadn't been for some of the fab folks on here.
Where are you thinking about heading? We are off to Perth hopefully by May 08.

We will be at the meet and my wee one (3yrs) will be chuffed to know there are going to be some little ones there.The eldest (11yrs) hopefully wont have a football match that weekend and should be there too. Any kids going around that age group?
