Hope you had a lovely time this weekend, we wondered where you were.
Our weekend was very nice and once again we had a great time at the Halfway House, everyones so friendly.
The next one's on the 24th August. We're sad we can't make this but we'll be having lots of fun on our reccie in Oz. Hope there's one in September and it will be nice to see you again then.

Best of luck with the house selling, this was quite a talking point at the meet too as quite a few people were getting fed up with it, some are even giving up and renting. This would be a very last resort for us though and after the hols it will be sell sell sell and hopefully we'll all find a few of the almost non-existent buyers.

Hope all is well. How's everything going ? Any news on the visa ? or possibly the house ?

We had a lovely time in Oz thanks and really enjoyed every place we stayed. Perth and the Sunshine Coast were our favourites and we totally loved them both. We could very happily settle in either of them. We had a brilliant time meeting up with Anne Marie, Tony and co and another lovely family we know and it completed a perfect time there.
Adelaide and Sydney were very pretty too. Seeing some Home & Away cast was really cool, they're all so nice.
We enjoyed it so much, sad to be back to sell the house but hoping to return there very soon.

Probably best to chat on another thread since not much demand for Essex meet-ups here at the moment.

we had our house sold then could not get a mortgage so back up forsale
hopefully maybe we shall have some luck.

hi steve, nice to hear that you have had a grt time. did you decide in the end then sunshine or melbourne. what were decisive factors?

and annemarie and brian, hope you sell your hse soon.. very best of luck as we will all need it in the end despite the gloomyness of collapsing capital markets. things are prgressing well with us as ACS has jsut completed my initial point assessment and I am waiting for the outcome in the letter - fingers crossed.
Is there next meetup arranged after Aug one?

the best place to find out is on poms in oz site as that is where it is arranged with,
