Having and cooking a full christmas dinner in the heat is ridiculous, we are having a party down at the beach with friends, I agree its not cold and wintery and doesnt "feel" like chrissie, but to everyone living here it feels exactly like chrissie, as this is what they are used to.

we have had a few hot Christmases and it never really feels like christmas day (coldness is too inbred in us!), so this year we are off to New Zealand on honeymoon (someone else's -not ours)

Yep, after much debate we're going for the traditional thing. We eat that much fresh fish, fruit ect the rest of the year these days, so we thought we'd go for the British thing.

We are having 13 people round for Chrissy day so will be cranking up the barbie with fish, steak, prawns etc and will be making a great day of it in the pool playing volleyball etc.

This is our second xmas in Oz - the first was a bit of a novelty but this year has been really hard to get into the Xmas spirit but hey - when in Aus do what the Aussie do

Off to Brissie for some guaranteed sun (?). Not putting up with the poor showing in Sydney last year. We went for a swim in the oggin but it felt like the north sea. This year I'll be in my mate's pool and it'll be hot - please santa?
