Vietnamese restaurant in East Perth today having the $5 lunchtime special

MENTAL AS ANYTHING

Either times are hard or this is the place to be if you're an iconic 80s Aussie.

Anybody else sat next to anyone or anything interesting lately?

Let's live it up!

I met Sean Connery when I was 8 at Gleneagles for a pro celebrity golf tournament for BBC. Sean slapped me gently on the face and Lee Travino patted me on the head. Does that count as an anecdote.

Hmmm, I quite impressed by that, I'm going to quietly drop my story.

:scared: NOOOOO! Mr Sir Lord God Sean Connery, I could never sue him. I'd take a couple of his millions in a quiet out of court settlement though

Does seeing a drunken youth throw up all over Melvin Hayes in a pub in the Cotswolds count?

If I could give out a prize you'd get it, you don't know how much pleasure your story has given me.

Been behind the Auckland Blues in a breakfast queue in the Elangeni, Durban. Also had breakfast with the Aussie cricket team - same hotel, different year. Not organised events, just coincidence. Oh, and Ian Woosnam, living locally, is a frequent sight in our bars (as am I).
