Maybe you need a doctor or youve had a nasty bang on the head .ps i am with u on the BE bit , i spent a while away and to be honest it de-clouds your judgement .you have settled and i have decided to go and live alife totally differnt to one i have lived before due to the fact im gloriously single and can go where i want and live a life truly saying ''never say never ''.
Doubt one would get anywhere if they're constantly analyzing and comparing UK to Australia. Both are going to have their flaws.
The thing is, I tend to think that you're probably not getting a decent answer from a topic like this. Those that are enjoying Australia wouldn't be as active on these forums, those that still have their heart and head in the UK might be posting here a bit more.
My mates family immigrated over from the UK. They spent the first year here miserable and every sentence somehow included "...but in England". After six months they were fine and didn't need to include "England" in their sentences anymore. You'll get out whatever you put into it.
