Where to live??!! (I know you must be bored of this one)
So sorry to post yet another query on location however...
My partner has been offered a LTA in Brisbane, will be in Fortitude Valley. We have a 9 year old and so need help with the following!
- Priority; Good family area, with good primary and secondary schools within an hour commute to Brisbane.
- Are there areas to avoid?
- Over here it is a bit of a bum fight for school places!! Is this an issue in Aus?
- I cannot see if they offer an annual train ticket, is there anyway of looking at annual rather than daily rates for train fares.
- Seeing as we may only be here for 2-3 years, whats the best way to hire / rent / lease / buy (would have to be cheap!) vehicle. Lease looks like about $900 which seems really expensive!
