2.9C here overnight, 11C now. Yesterday was only 10C maximum.
Melbourne has only had 13.6 hours of sunshine so far this month and a lot of cloudy days ahead in the forecast.
Temperatures should get a little colder if anything as the next 7 days progress with snow over the higher mountains in Victoria and NSW.

It has to in New Zealand . It's shit or bust . Hot water bottles and blankies.
Actually it blasts our house where we have to open the upstairs windows and turn on the fan. This lets in the Antarctic blast and circulates that to downstairs where we sit in blissful ignorance because we are used to it all these days.

I am staring at a fire I have set up and the pile of firewood next to it ... delaying lighting it until my tootsies are slightly colder ...
