Yesterday in the shade at about 2pm it was 27.6C, but in the full sun, by the pool it was 47C.

Hope everyone knows that quoted temps are done in the shade

But if it wasn't, it wouldn't be accurate would it! ...

I've said before and will say again. Temps *I* quote are either from my car 'outside' thermo which is actually quite accurate when moving (to a degree or so), or from one of the several thermo's I have in *my* garden.

I don't know what was quoted for *my* area today, but think it was about 31C.

On the drive home for lunch my car was showing 21.5C. The thermo's in me garden were on 34C, and the pool water temp was 30C.

A dip or three, a cold one to quench the thirst, and then it was back to work.

Oh and currently on 'ceiling fan' mode. Air con been on once so far.

Sun Coast hasnt had a storm this summer yet, unusual, but warm enough today.

Hope melbourne is going to keep its cool wet windy weather for my Xmas

There were some cells up there yesterday but most of them went further north - some torrential rain in Gympie, and storms around Bundaberg and Childers.
Brisbane is copping it again

Hail highly likely in places, and 80-90km winds reported around Archerfield.
