It's going into poxy garden killing mode this weekend dammit !!! I'm away and wont be able to properly protect my baby(s) Thats all my vegies and salads are going to take a bit of a hit.....Hope my super hot chillies come through ok... they should be at least. Best pick all my lettuce leaves to the base (4 different types) and various other leafy greens...and hopefully they come back afterwards.

30 this morning, 24 this afternoon. Was thinking of a dip in the pool after rushing around all morning but then the wind got up so I had a quick shower instead.

Well we had our annual BE meetup today and it was quite warm and have come home for a family bbq and still steamy. 9.10pm and it's 28 with 73% humidity. It's lovely but even a bit too much for this Aussie.

4 degrees in New Brighton. Have just come back from a Sunday roast at the pub. Walked down into a fierce wind blowing straight off the Irish sea. Scouse was all buttoned up in his leather coat, gloves, scarf etc etc, and complaining that it was bitter. I had an open light coat over jeans and tee, and was saying how much I love this weather.
I'm sure that, given our nationalities, this should have been the other way around

About 34 today. It was the first time I have ever got in a pool and thought it was too warm to be pleasant. Could have been worse, a few kms inland it was 38.
