Absolutely! In that case I reckon they should be lapping up retired life at Coffs Harbour. 100 acres sounds like a bit of a challenge to manage though.

It's pretty much just pasture and the guy who used to own the property still agists his cattle there so he pretty much takes care of the land. I want them to move there so that I can take the kids down for the school holidays. We all love Coffs.

I arrived in the UK in November last year, and it was warmer then than now. Max of 13 today.

Cold. Last evening was hell windy again. 100 K winds quite common in melb, but soon they will be furnace hot not cold. But for now wind chill made it feel like 2c at 7am.

However 20C temps predicted for couple days later in week.

Well it was 25 or something like that today, must admit just started thinking how the flippin hell does it get 20C hotter than that some days and went and booked some more out of australia in summer airfares.

So an expensive day, however its back to normal now, wind is blowing its head off again.

It was windy here for a while too - but so good to have some heat today. Think we hit 28 in the end

40 in some parts of SA tomorrow..... Even I'm surprised about that one.... thats one hell of a quick turn around. It's 22C here in Melbourne at 11pm tonight. I had trouble sleeping actually before my night shift because of it.

Its funny 22 at night in QLD, was pretty standard for many months a year, cant say I ever got to like it, the usually cooler night temps here suit me just fine.

As for the winds. another wind warning now for tonight. So close to tullamarine the 11pm peak hour of the big planes leaving, and the wind combo, sound like a cyclone hitting the roof, you can feel it too, shaking and rattling. Used to it now but guests get a bit surprised if allocated the top bedroom.

I do! Had it on today - within 15 minutes scouse was snoring on the sofa, I was able to take about 5 layers off, and the dog was laying on his bed next to a radiator - stretched out on his back and also snoring
