Dodging the rain showers trying to do my leaflet round- hope it doesn't end up too much like papier mache!

Also just missed being hit by a falling branch which fell as I was walking past. Scared not only me, but the pigeon that had been sitting on it at the time. Still got 3 more legs to do.....also trying to drain water out of the pool for the second time in 24 hours- it was only 1 inch from overflowing this morning after having let out 6 inches yesterday.

21 degrees and sunshine in Melbourne and the same forecast for tomorrow. Out in the garden in T-shirt and shorts, then went for a nice lunch at our local cafe with the Mrs.

Feeling very spring-like.

Spring appears to have sprung in Perth as well - early 20s and sunny for the next week (with a bit of cloud some days). Been getting good rains so hopefully some of that's gone into the reservoirs.

If that was winter, I think we've had it.

I really noticed today that we haven't had any rain for ages - my plants are looking like they do in summer - dried up and brown. Had to water the pots today!

Rain forecast for the weekend though but working tomorrow anyway. I get problems with pics too but they usually open on the third or fourth attempt.

Yep, when your plants look crispy in winter you have to wonder what's going on. Melbourne usually has good winter rains.

These sunny days in Perth are accompanied by very chilly nights, perfect for snuggles
