Yep, 115F in old money. That's almost death valley type temps!!!!!!
Hubby was working out bush today in the midwest and only had 42degs LOL. (But to be fair I was inside in Aircon and he was outside heaving hundreds of 15kg bags of rock samples about).
We've had a bit of rain come in now and the temperature has crashed down to 26.4deg - Fabulous! We deserve it after today
Gonna sleep easy tonight.

34 degrees here in Melbourne. I had planned to do some gardening today, it feels a lot hotter than 34c to me as it's quite humid. So we've been camped indoors, sweating like a dripping tap as we haven't installed our new air con yet.
Very unpleasant to my mind.
It would be good If I were on holiday by a pool... but as i'm gearing up for night shift tonight... I'm dreading my pre shift air conditionless nap. So for every day life you can stick it.

It's not really an everyday thing though.
It's the 10th day above 30C in Melbourne this month and two of those days were only just over 30C. There have also been 15 days 25C and under.
I agree that days like today with the temps in the low to mid 30s are unpleasant but this summer hasn't been all that bad so far. It's only 6 weeks or so until we start getting the beautiful Autumn weather in Victoria.

LOL we had a max of 34 today with a southerly breeze and were saying how nice and cool it was. Its all about perspective I guess!
