Slightly off topic perhaps - but still to do with the weather.

Looking at the local forecast to see what the temp is now (22.8)...my eye fell on the previous records for October around here.

I found this fairly interesting: Maximum for October 2006 was 32.5 on the 12th

Minimum for October 2006 was minus 1.7 on the 22nd

That was my first year here. I know it's a desert country but those temp variations are a bit scary.

Yep 5 degs hotter makes a huge difference. Was lovely yesterday only rained in the evening. Today is forecast to be the same.

15°C in Geelong today heading for a top of 20°C in the afternoon, accompanied by blue skies and a cool breeze perfect for walking around the refinery. I like this type of weather it suits me just fine through the week for working in, add on 3 or 4 degrees for the weekend and all is well with the world!

Its 33.4 at 2pm and im melting lol. Got to ride down to the school soon leaving a puddle behind as i go no doubt lol.
We are forecast a storm so hopefully it wll be a bit cooler by bedtime.

22c but with humidity in the mid 80% and higher its not very comfortable. I can actually see the ground steaming today.
