Mid 20's sunny, long days, lovely summers usually, very green too, lots of water/mountain trail type stuff. Vancouvers worst weather is from oct to march you can get rain spells that last up to 6 weeks at a time. We actually had some very heavy rain on friday, needed to go 1 klm had to take a taxi for what is normally a short walk.

Nice gentle summers day again here, only 34 degrees.

Keep hoping either dehyrdration or heatstroke will finish me off

Yes up in QLD and OMG its hot.

IME its mid april it starts to cool down, not exactly cold but just taking the boil off the temps. 8+ month summers are totally tiresome.

Bit chilly this morning- only 14 degrees, and for the first time since last year I had condensation on the inside of my windows. Warmed up to around 22 degrees later, but I had to wear a jacket and long trousers. Brrrr.

We are having our first substantial rainfall since before Christmas. MUCH needed, but not sure how long it will last. Been raining for about the last hour or so. ROMFT and the boy have been at cricket practice and are now at football practice so will be soaking

RAIN! its got three weeks to vanish, I'm not flying all that way for rain! Although I gather there could be a couple of bottles of wine to drink if I have to sit indoors and watch it pouring!

Yup. Recommend the Pinot Noir if you like a red - rather a nice drop...when are you here as we have scout camp to do the weekend after easter, so will have to organise when we can come up.

Been a bad, long summer this year...you did well to miss it. We used almost 30% more electricity this summer compared to last as air con use has gone from < 10 times to many dozens...

Summer's been normal here although we did have two or three days of using the air con for an hour or so. Last couple of days have been ok but the humidity has been higher than normal so a bit sweaty betty but not unbearable. However we've had a fair bit of rain so humidity is reasonable.

Agreed, our Qld born friends all say its been a very bad one, long and hot and humid and it just keeps dragging on and on and on. 30% more beer and wine drank this summer than any other.

Done less outdoors this summer than we would do outdoors in a winter in the UK. But drank more or less the same.
