Hi
Great idea about booking a room, is there somewhere close? that may be an idea for us too.

I don't really know the area Joe but if you put in the postcode of the pub into www.travelodge.co.uk or www.travelinn.co.uk then hopefully they'll bring up ones that are nearby

ok for those who want to stay over on saturday i have done some research( i am good to you lot)
right next door to the pub is a holiday inn express a double room will cost £70 inc bbreakfast 0.4 of a mile up the road is a travel lodge charging £45 per room.
theses are the closes places to stay i could find worth staying in.
we are in the travel lodge as we live 6 miles from the pub we are just being lazy.
checked the pub out as well and they may just have the 6 nations on .
flag is ironed as well and as long as we are not rowdy we can have a part of the pub, i assured the manager were all responsible 30 somethings most with children. i am such a good fibber.

Hi
We are looking at staying at the travelodge so that Mark can have a drink too. We live about 50 miles from the pub! Dont suppose you know if they have cots?
That will be brill to have some of the pub, whether we will be allowed to use it again is another thing
Looking forward to it.
