Started the process with a telephone call to confirm whether it was worth applying. Got a letter from the within days. Then SIR came in again got a letter within days telling us about this.

Finally did TRA stuff, they checked it and sent it back with other things we had to do/amend.

Phoned us with TRA result same day they received letter and days later phoned to say Pauls trade noe on MODL list.

Thats as far as we have got but really happy so far. Used them cause they used to work at Australian Embassy in Manchester before it shut down and we are 20 mins drive from their offices if we need to get to them

Seen a few of your threads Rooksie and seems a nightmare trip so far. Having said that all your threads make me p**s my sides at some point

Good luck

Jo
I was going to have to do SIR visa till they padded out modl.

If i were you would get your mian app in asap while you still meet the points score. I dont think they will change it soon but you never know!

I know someone else who used AMA Manchester and thought they were excellent although as far as I'm aware they are not Registered Agents?? Might be wrong about that?

I think you are right about this. Nothing on letter head to suggest it but maybe wrong. Anyway they are close enough to get a hold of. If you know what I mean. ( she laughs menacingly !!!)

Voted unhappy, although things seem to be going ok now, main thing is lack of communication, I found myself constantly ringing to find info and I shouldn't have to do that when I'm paying them!!

1. Yes very at intial meeting!

2. Nearly 5 months for TRA after submitting app, months of trying to find
what they needed us to write submit before that.

3. NO not for what they've done.

4. MD yes but the day to day staff you talk to dont always seem to know
what they're doing.

5. Definatley not.

6. At intial meeting yep made to feel it was a piece of cake.

7. Mainly left us to get on with it, hence in hindsight we probably could have
done it ourselves. We have had more help and info from the government
sponsering us than the agent.

Its not just about getting the visa, the service is supposed to include information on everything you need to know about emmigrating, ie housing, shipping, work, living in Oz, financial advice etc we have had none of this.

Thank god for this forum.
