I dont know how many people has been left behind. Those people who use to post their posting regularly. I would say 10 posts a day. Some of them now come for a while now (not even making 2 posts a day) and just moving away.
When I said 10 posts a day, i did not meant of karma mongering or irrevalant posts. But I would say a very sensible posts. It made me feel confortable interacting and asking them however silly it may be. And each of their posts I have still keept in my subsriptions lists... Its becuase I cant efford to loose those replies. So informative full of experience.
I just am wondering about this since a month, have we chased away those people with lot of our postings in interacting and joking across. I may be wrong and I hope so.
But I see good posts getting vanished or buried under lot of interaction.
No offence on anyone, but its my thought I may be 110% wrong on my thoughts.
Does anyone feel the same?

It goes through ever repetative phases and noone can really schedule this into nice even amounts of each category. Take what you like, leave what you don't.
The people make the forum, the people make the posts........so it moves at the pace and to the tune of those people.
The people may change but the forum goes on and invariably it mirrors what has gone before.

I made a similar point last week in the 'lounge' forum. Not so much about old timers leaving, but the regulars scaring off newbies. They didn't take it too well.
The forum(s) need new blood as others drift away. So scaring off new posters at the start isn't too smart. But try telling that to some of the wise guys in the lounge and see what happens. (In my case a ridiculous amount of Karma, and a 4 day ban )
Its only natural people drift away. So new posters are always required. At least the Oz forum is alot more welcoming than certain others, and that probably explains why its the liveliest.
