Default Waiting options at Melbourne airport

Hello,

I was wondering if there were any cafes/restaurants in the International arrivals hall at Melbourne airport. Our flight is landing quite early and we'll have a few hours to kill before we can check-in to our Airbnb. Any recommendations for where we could wait it out? (preferably at the airport itself since we will have all our luggage with us)
Wifi would be great too!

Thanks!!

Just go from Arrivals to Departures. There are definitely places there, also in the Melbourne Domestic Terminal
Personally though I'd get into the city first and wait it out there.

There is at least one coffee shop in International arrivals (may not be open for the earliest scheduled arrival though, which I think is Royal Brunei)and I'd agree with Pollyana - there are a plethora of places to choose from in departures.

Not sure about wi-fi, sorry

If I were in your shoes I'd jump on the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. There are places to eat and drink there and saves you lugging your cases far. Then you can enjoy some of the hustle and bustle of the city, and make your way to the AirBnB from there if it's more convenient.

This place is within Southern Cross Station, does alcohol and free Wifi http://networkpublicbar.com.au

Your AirBnB doesn't offer collection from the airport? And won't let you arrive any time day or night???

Dear me......

Southern Cross Station

Leave the luggage at Southern Cross and explore.

Exactly. The one I stay at in Adelaide ($40/night) picks me up at the airport no matter what time I arrive and they always say to help myself to whatever is in the fridge or pantry.

The one we stayed at in Prague the guy picked us up, drove us the hour from the airport to our apartment then went back to the airport the next day to pick up my suitcase that had been left in Frankfurt and delivered it to us at the apartment. He also came back when we were leaving to drive us to the airport

Well, with that budget there is really no such place in Melbourne. Quite frankly, i got a really good deal on the room with ensuite, great location, great reviews and a beautiful home. I don't mind the wait if it means i am saving serious $$ on the per night rate.
Also, I may even get an early check-in. Just haven't explored that yet as its probably too soon for them to have that information

$40/night in Adelaide is because I go there 3 or 4 times a year and have become friends with the house's owners. I don't book through AirBnB anymore, just shoot her an email to say I'm coming.
