Application there and acknowledged.........But how long before we get that Visa ??

Some people have told me that it should be 3/4mths before they call for meds ?

All this waiting around is gonna do my head in

I know ...........i'll just have to be patient

You are going to find the wait a long one aren't you, don't know how I can tell, but I can

It could be anything between 3 and 5 months til you get a med request. With visa grant being around 3 - 8 weeks after they get them if sent requested.

That is based on a straight forward no hassle application.

Only two things for it, lots of beer and BE (you'll find out how my post count has gone through the roof )

The hardest part is gonna be the waiting and not being able to chase them for progress

I'll say what I think whenever I read one of these posts - only a coupl of years back it routinely took 2-3 YEARS to get a skills visa ........

I know, it's like the TRA. They take about 2 - 4 weeks, we waited over three months for ours and I thought "oh, that was quick" !!

Now that you have your acknowledgement - why dont you front load your medicals and PC checks - that way they are ready there when they pick up your application.

Mind you that means when you get Visa your date for validation goes from the Medical or PC date so will get less time - if this is a prob for you then just ignore my suggestion.

Welcome to limbo land! Mind you on the immigration format one lucky member has got a CO in under 30 days!!
