Hi I am thinking about moving to Australia I'm a plumber and I have NVQ level 3, I am gas safe registered and I also have my unvented hot water cylinder qualification.

I have read on other forums that some of these qualifications would stand in Australia but there are courses that you have to do to get a plumbing licence.

I would like to know roughly from other peoples experiences how long these courses take, are the regs a lot different from the uk, are they hard to complete and how long it would be before i could work as a plumber/gas engineer.
