UK pension entitlement

Hi,
I'm 40 and about to move to Aus permanently and I'm wondering if it's worth keeping on paying my NI contributions until retirement age in order to recieve my full state pension?
If I choose to do this does the 'pension freeze' start from when I move to Aus or when I stop my contributions?

Thanks,

Sam

Think it's from when you start drawing the pension.

Yes it is. Frozen at the point you start claiming. If you return to the Uk to live however it is 'unfrozen' (melts?!!).
