I asked him on FB just before he left UK but he wasn't forthcoming with the answer. Looks like QAS shut the door to qualified Paramedics at the moment and got plenty coming out of Uni now. They had a big recruitment drive few years back overseas. I worked for them back in 2010 and they sorted out visa.Had a work colleague in UK who also managed to get into QAS with visa just before they stopped.
Rescue Paramedic way to go especially mines, loads of private company's in Qld.

Thanks Gary, yeah no worries pal. they've just opened the doors to graduate paramedics so ill have a crack applying for that. I'm sure ill find something all the best enjoy the weather!
