Default UK Dentist

Hello,

This is my first post on here. I'm a UK Dentist and I'm looking to work in Australia for 6 months to see if it's somewhere I could live longer term. I'm 30 and have 3 years experience.

I have done a quick search of the forum but can't much on the subject. Anyone have any advice or experience of doing this?

Thanks!

Well you might just about be able to get a Working Holiday Visa, but you'd need to look at the registration requirements in oredr to work as a dentist -it probably means registering with AHPRA which can take ages.
Otherwise you'd be looking at a full application for a skills visa I think....

Hi. Dentists have just been removed from the skilled occupations list so I thinks it will probably be impossible to be able to get a working/migration visa on the skills basis.
