We're in! 
Long storey, which I will have to tell you about when we get proper internet, as only on dial up (snail internet) til next week.
Will also post updated pictures. Would you believe there are still things to do, and the house is not completely finished yet, but it is all drawn up in a contract.
Will update you very soon, as still living around a pile of boxes

My in-laws here have bought at Burns beach. They bought the land in 06 and still not moved in. They have been told Aug 08

Congratulations: it's stressfull, to put it mildly but worth it when you lock up your rental for the last time!
To put it into perspective, six months after moving in we are still getting new double glazed units as replacements - the *second* lot of replacements, and the *third* lot in some windows!

Thanks for your kind wishes everyone. 
It is great to be out of the rental, and in our own place
Hopefully get connected to broadband by middle of week, so will update the pics then.
Landscapers come on Tues, so I will take some pics before then, to show the comparison.

Landscapers are in this morning (arrived at 6.30am!)
There are loads of plants dotted around in their pots waiting to be planted
Haven't got the internet sorted yet, but be prepared, as there will be an influx of pictures to come

Lovely.......but......erm...won't these plants be a bit stressed being moved at this time of the year? They are going to need lots of love and attention.....wish I could help you!!

Congratulations Tia. I bet you are sooo pleased to be finally in.
We managed to get a 6 month rental in Butler, but still spend alot of time at the Ocean Keys. Would be lovely to meet you for a coffee/drink in the New Year.
Have a lovely Christmas. If I remember rightly you have your parents over for the festive season, be sure to have a great one.

I'm back!
Have loads of pics to upload, but need a program to shrink them down! (better late than never I suppose) can anyone recommend a good one, which is easy to use?
Will have to see where I was up to with the progress report, then start sorting pics etc.
