Is there "Screwfix "equivalent ?
 
Anyone found or know of a Screwfix equivalent, we have search in vain :( OH is sure there must be something.

I wish. There is absolutely nothing. We get totally reamed with hardware over here. Bunnings have the market cornered & apart from a few headline items are way overpriced.

I'd forgotten about them. One of the few good things you don't get here. :( Maybe some enterprising individual can start the Aussie version.

I found something the other day but it's not as comprehensive as Screw Fix unfortunately but will find it and give you the link anyway.

It would be good that's for sure. I think the delivery charges would do them in. Very few internet retailers deliver free of charge, the large distances make delivery expensive. Also Australia hasn't quite grasped the concept of internet shopping, ie that it should be cheaper than going to a shop. Most things to buy on the internet here are no cheaper than in your local mall.
