Temporary Business Visa (457)

Under the question on the application form "when do you want your visa?", we put January 2002, as at that time, the processing time was 4 months.
Now that things seem to have speeded up on the temporary side, (now 3 weeks according to DIMA) does anyone know if the fact that we`ve put January 2002 will slow things up - will they not even bother to deal with our application until later because of this? Any advice would be gratefully received.
P.S. I`ve e-mailed them but had no response yet - do they ever reply to e-mails???
