Take a look round your home now..........all those little nik-naks make it home.......and they cost a small fortune to replace!!
Bring as much over as you can.......it will save you a packet

So is it worth shipping out 'just' the seating and bed, maybe the dining table and six chairs too?

Plus the 'other' stuff...books, tools, PCs (definite), CDs and DVDs plus misc personal gear.
General consensus is that it is - particularly things like bedding, cutlery and kitchen bits and bobs, pictures and stuff. If you use someone like Excess Baggage, you can send out bits and bobs and not worry about getting a 20ft or 40ft container.

Hi there,

does anyone know how much it'll cost for the following from Good Guys/betta electrical or retravision (we're not fussy, cheaper the better)

Stainless Steel microwave 850watt
Stainless steel american style fridge/freezer (with ice/drink dispenser)
Washing machine (front or top loading - large enough for a family of 5)

Have searched and googled but none of the sites have price lists. Trying to work out a budget as most stuff we are shipping out plus we have some stuff in storage with friends out there from previous attempt to emigrate!

Many thanks annie
