It wasnt a Qualification they were familiar with so it took longer to assess. But it is equivalent to an Australian Degree in Marketing. I have decided though to go with your collective advice and call in the services of an agent as it looks like I would be struggling to get the points needed. Maybe the Business Visa is the way to go - as I have some money comming to me from the sale of a house.

www.visabureau.co.uk were excellent for us.

Others are http://www.austimmigration.com.au/ - George Lomabard or www.gomatilda.com - Alan Collett. Both BE posters and recommended by all that have used them.

Hello - I am back!
Got some free advice from an agent. I just dont have enough points.

I have two options

1. Hope that Marketing Specialist goes on to an On demand list (generally revised in July) What are my chances of this???

2. Employer Nomination Option. I had a quick look ay www.mycareer.com.au.
But realistically - who would want to sponser me for a Marketing job??? Surely there are loads of "natives" suitably qualified and experienced???

I had another look. All of the jobs state that you have to have a visa in order to apply for them. Do I give up my dream now??? It all seems so hopeless....
