Re: September 7, 2013
It is important to follow the Party's numbering/directions EXACTLY as preferences will decide the election. One number in the "wrong" spot can mean the difference between a party getting in or not.
Oh - and if you make a mistake - go and ask for another ballot paper. Any crossing outs or other mark on the paper makes it void. Similarly, if you put a tick instead of a cross, or miss a box - nullifies the paper... A lot of people don't realise that...

As in helping the country by endeavouring to appoint the best possible Numpty out of the Numpties on offer...
People fought long and hard for the right to vote...
It never ceases to amaze me how, after an election, no one voted for the Party in Power if things go pear shaped...
At least you will be able to hold your hand up and say "Ain't my fault!"
Just don't complain about the state of the country if you choose not to vote, or donkey vote...

What does that mean? That you dispute men died for freedom of choice? Remember, freedom not to vote is an important part of the democratic process, which is why only a tiny handful of countries force citizens to do it, wrongly, in my view. Not voting is a statement, in a way, a vote in and of itself. It;s like any other form of peaceful protest. Would you ban people from protesting as well?

you are not required to vote. they're not going to check if you wrote anything on the ballot before they cross your name off the list. you're only required to show up.
