scottish family moving to wa
Hi there , me and my wife and our 2 young kids aged 5 and 3 are in the final stages of immigration to western australia...we are looking to settle in the mandurah region and would be grateful on any info at all on areas to live good for young familys with schools and shops and stuff...I am a wall and floor tiler with 25 years experience and so any info on the work scene would be appreciated...thanks...neil

I've moved this from our meet-ups area to the main forum as this is more an info request than meet. I've not been here long, and in the wrong part of the country to help, but hopefully someone who knows Mandurah will be along soon.

I live in Mandurah but I'm no expert on the building game. I have a couple of mates who are in it and hear differing views between it picking up no still being poor. I'd be cautios.
Also unemployment in Mandurah is higher that other arease but wether this is relevant to your trade I couldn't say.
