Default Schools - Aspergers - SE Melbourne

We may be moving over to Australia around March/April. One of our children has a diagnosis of mild autism (previously would have been referred to as Aspergers).

The child is currently in Year 1 in England, so I think would be joining Prep in Victoria. Right now there is no one-on-one classroom assistant for the child, which we understand would be the case in Melbourne too. However the school has put a provision map in place to track and help with progress, particularly for language & emotions. They also use a visual timetable that helps.

Is anyone aware of public primary schools that are good in dealing with the extra difficulties that come with mild autism? We would likely be moving to the Berwick/Narre Warren area or close by.
