It is nice but I can see why people live a few miles out, it's much cheaper to rent there. Having said that what we are spending on extra rent, we are gaining by having everything so conveniently close. I can even walk home for lunch if I want!

Plus even though we are right in town, it's still just a few mins ride or run to be in the countryside. Going for a run now actually
