Renting in NSW
 
Hi , looking for any information on good areas to rent for our first house in NSW preferably not too expensive?

NSW is a state, roughly the same size at the UK. Where in NSW do you want to be?

I think NSW is much larger than that - google has it as over 3 times larger than UK!

I'm not too sure been looking to see where most work is ( im a bricklayer) but cant find alot of info on it . Near sydney would be great but its looking REALLY expensive.

Seek should be able to find you jobs in NSW. You'll find cheaper rents more costly if there is no work in an area so it's all relative.

Over 5 million people can't be wrong. Even brickies live in Sydney too you know.

I just Googled and found that the Sydney Metro area is 12,368 square km, which is bigger than the whole of Yorkshire at 11,903 square km. It puts things into perspective, its a big place.

Where will you be working? Not much point in us recommending Hay if you’re going to work in Central Sydney.

Penrith in Sydney's outer western suburbs is still affordable.
