hi im going to perth on a working holiday visa to see how it is for a year to get the jist of things im a qualified painter and decorator with city and guilds nvq level 3....all the painting jobs seem to say you have to be "registered"...

what does this mean?

how can i get registerd?

all painters earning more than $200 a week doing painting need to be licensed. My bro in law done his while he was employed as a painter for a firm, it includes a couple of exam style tests including sorts of paint, billing jobs and the invoicing side of things. I guess he can get it done when he arrives and works for a company.
Try and google it the requirements must be available somewhere.
