Quick tax question
Could anyone please advise whether any tax is payable in the current tax year on interest on a term deposit that is accrued but not yet paid out in the current tax year?

AFAIK it only counts when you get paid the interest - that's what I am planning on doing with mine which matures 7/7 because that is what the counter on the bank website says
