Pushchairs and Airports
Can you take a bring a pushchair over from the UK if you don't have the child to go in it?
Mum is coming over in Feb next year and I would like her to bring a double Mclaren with her. I refuse to pay the inflated prices for Mclaren over here, but having had a single, they are by far the best pushchair.
We had no problem bringing one over when we moved over 4 years ago, it was taken off us at the gate and we got it back as soon as we got off the plane, just wondering if that would be the case if you didn't have a child with it.

Suggest that you contact the airline that she will be travelling with, as no doubt they will all have different rules but personally can't see why you can't bring such a thing as a gift.

Wrap it up well in brown paper and she can just put it though with normal baggage the same as people do with surf boards etc. She's not going to need it at the airports she passes through as you would so it's just another baggage item.
