I only know what people have referred to in the last few months but I believe it's an understatement to say you had a hard slog to get there, Paul and Nic.
Huge Congrats to you all.

Re: PR! ... the decision is in!
Thanks everyone ...
Yeah we're all bloody chuffed it's finally happened. The wait has been terrible, but as they say all good things come to those who wait! ...
I've gotta take Nic to the hospital later today so took the whole day off. Gonna go to Medicare and see if they'll give us some money towards bringing up these kids of ours! ...
Gonna also pop down to the local Immigration building too, armed with passports that are craving that PR visa! ...
Work wise altho I have a job, I'm goin nowhere really and have been waiting for PR so I can go and do an apprenticeship. The boy has left school now and it's looking like we are gonna try and get an apprenticeship together, we'll see!
Oh and in the OP I said I wanted to do a loooooong post about it all, but I was just too excited and HAD to say! I've had the story in my mind for months and even was gonna type up a draft ready, but then thought I'd be jinxing things so refrained.
One thing I DID want to put in, and will say now is I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who has supported me throughout all of this. I couldn't of done it without you! ...
Do I have to validate my visa now? ...
Bring on citizenship eh!
THANK YOU!
